PayPal X Awards
August 19, 2010
Both Plizzel and SnoGol have been entered into the PayPal Developers Challenge X Award contest. We could win up to $160,000. All of which would be donated automatically to the Humanarium Project, as per the sponsor and owner of both of these fund raising projects has planned.
We will be entering both games into the approval system for both the I-phone and the Google Android application stores. There is a timeline requirement that must be met.
We are using the Adaptive Payment method of processing all funds and prizes. This will protect all the users and players from fraud. As a former Certified PayPal Developer I know how good of a company this is from a security and implementation point of view.
Whether we win or not, this will be a giant step forward for both of these endeavors. All of the transactions will have an automated solution that is second to none.
E-Bay will be integrated in some way to help with the Grand Master training on Plizzel and for add-on benefits for SnoGol.

The Rule of 100
August 13, 2010
This is both a political statement and a teaching aid for people seriously interested in professional financial planning. “We just want equal rights. We’re tired of being second-class citizens,” that is the cry of the “Same Sex Marriage Crowd.” Well, I’m the great, great grandson of Brigham Young and I have genetic and hormonal reasons to want my rights too.
Now that anyone can be married I want the American Civil Liberties Union and all the other Commucrats to support my efforts to have my equal rights in matrimony. As of now a civil union that lets gays have similar and equal property rights as other married couples enjoy is no longer acceptable to them, they are about to learn the advantages of financial leverage using their civil union benefits.
So ladies, lets have some fun and get richer in the process. Viva la difference! This is personal environmental enhancement for those Greenbird Commucrats to understand in their silly vernacular. T&C
COFFEE SNOGOL
August 11, 2010
Playing SnoGol on a golf course is fun but a vicarious form of this sport is being developed for the Cafe’ crowd at the local Starbucks. This is a social networking and dating experience for the more tuned in and smart phone aficionados.
The actual players will have a smart phone leader that shoots the entire game. A listing of the players will be broadcast for the Coffee SnoGol virtual players. Virtual game money will be available to wager on the favorite players. The winners will be given an invitation to join the actual players at their favorite 19th Hole. A secret code will be issued to each of the winners of the virtual game. The winner can pass on their preferred SnoGol Profile for acceptance by any of the players if so desired.
Special match play will be arranged at hidden events. These events will be broadcast only if the participants choose to do so. They are made up of teams that have met on the Coffee SnoGol Social Sports Network. These events may be used for reality programs both on the Internet and on the regular broadcasting stations. PLASH DISCOUNTS AND REBATES
August 10, 2010
Plizzel is dedicated to not making any profit on products or services offered within the many Matrixes in the Plizzel Financial Planning system. We use group buying power to get the best prices. We use what would normally be the profits that developers of a system like would pocket to support the non profit known as “The Humanarium Project.” This income is made from the monthly software subscription fee. The IMR (Independent Marketing Representative) pays this fee to be in the system and use the software.
Some of the other special features we have that even the best Internet and Brick and Mortar outlets can’t offer to their wholesalers and customers are as follows:
1. Wholesalers will be offered tax deductions for discounted inventory as soon as the tax status process is completed. These discounts will be used to promote plizzel participation.
2. Rebates from Plizzel Providers and the Plizzel organization will be passed on to the group periodically depending on the level of progress the IMR has attained.
3. Outside affiliates that raise money for the Humanarium Project will also create residual income that can provide additional incentive for IMRs to use the Plizzel Matrix method of financial planning.
All this gives Plizzel the most attractive method of saving money (Plash) when buying the most important things in your life. Remember, saving money is the same as earning money. SEE: plizzel.com
The New Grid
BY: Barry Bowdidge August 9,2010
By combining the two technologies below both the individual and community grid problems will be solved. Only the political will of society prevents this from happening. Vested interests are stopping the obvious from happening. The only hope is to get up to another place like the Moon or Mars in a private capacity that requires this obvious solution to maintain life. Perhaps then our kids and grand children can enjoy a little freedom from the control freaks presently in charge.
Lightbridge develops and owns advanced nuclear fuel designs for existing light water reactors currently in operation around the world and new generation light water reactors that are being built or have been proposed for construction worldwide
Lightbridge utilizes thorium-based nuclear fuel designs optimized to address key concerns typically attributed to traditional nuclear power, such as proliferation and waste. The result is an advanced fuel cycle which offers enhanced proliferation resistance, significantly reduced volume, weight and long-term radio-toxicity of used fuel, and improved fuel cycle economics
As nuclear power generation has become established since the 1950s, the size of reactor units has grown from 60 MWe to more than 1600 MWe, with corresponding economies of scale in operation. At the same time there have been many hundreds of smaller reactors built both for naval use (up to 190 MW thermal) and as neutron sources, yielding enormous expertise in the engineering of deliberately small units.
NOTE: Combine the above with the present development below.
Today, due partly to the high capital cost of large nuclear power reactors generating electricity via the steam cycle and partly to the need to service small electricity grids under about 4 GWe, there is a move to develop smaller units. (A very general rule is that no single unit should be larger than 15% of grid capacity.) These smaller units may be built independently or as modules in a larger complex, with capacity added incrementally as required. Economies of scale are provided by the numbers produced. There are also moves to develop small units for remote sites. The IAEA defines “small” as under 300 MWe, but in general today 500 MWe might be considered an upper limit to “small”. The IAEA is reported to project up to 1000 small nuclear reactors producing power by 2040.
The most prominent modular project is the South African-led consortium developing the Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) of 170 MWe. In China, Chinergy is preparing to build a similar unit, the 195 MWe HTR-PM. A US-led group is developing another design with 285 MWe modules. Both US types drive gas turbines directly, using helium as a coolant and operating at very high temperatures. They build on the experience of several innovative reactors developed in the 1960s and 1970s.

Scientists in 14 countries on five continents are teaming up to hunt for as many as 100 species of amphibians that are thought to possibly be extinct, but may be surviving in remote corners.
With amphibian populations around the world declining quickly and a third at risk of extinction, the unprecedented search could help scientists better understand the crisis.
“The rapid and profound change to the global environment that has taken place over the last fifty years or so – in particular climate change and habitat loss – has had a devastating impact on these incredible creatures,” Conservation International’s Robin Moore, who has organized the search for IUCN’s Amphibian Specialist Group, said in a press release August 8, 2010.
“We’ve arranged this search for ‘lost’ species that we believe may have managed to hang on so that we can get some definite answers – and hopefully learn about what has allowed some tiny populations of certain species to survive when the rest of their species has been lost,” Moore said.
Amphibians have also been suffering from a fungus that causes a disease known as chytridiomycosis, which has already obliterated some species.
In this gallery, see the 10 most wanted lost amphibian species chosen by Moore’s team for their potential scientific or aesthetic value, along with 10 other species that scientists around the world will be searching for. The hunters will be posting updates about their search to Conservation International’s website through October.

RECONCILIATION ECOLOGY
For over a decade, University of Arizona ecologist Michael Rosenzweig has preached a gospel of what he calls reconciliation ecology: designing everyday landscapes to support as many plants and animals as possible. With a computer program directing the design, reconciliation ecology will get its test in Tucson, Arizona. We decided to turn Tucson into a lab of a million people.
Rosenzweig wants to arrange their habitats with a program built on a database of life-history characteristics on 300 local plant species, plus natural history records gathered from a century of research on Tumamoc Hill, an 870-acre island of relatively undisturbed desert west of downtown.
Rosenzweig envisions the tested program becoming a tool for developers, neighborhood associations, businesses, anybody with a backyard — first in Tucson, then elsewhere, as other ecologists localize the code.
“If you produce an ecological theater that meets the animals halfway, they’ll do the rest,” said Rosenzweig. For complete article SEE:
